The Colour blue evokes thoughts of sea, sunshine, indigo textiles, japanese tea cups, willow pattern crockery, cornflowers and forget-me-nots, denim jeans, ink, sapphires, Lapis Lazuli, French windows and doors, blue moons, portuguese walls, music and spanish nights. It can be calming or electric, azure or cobalt and a multitude of other hues. It has a wonderful effect on me, often causing a sigh of pleasure.
