BUMBLING

Just before dusk, when the light is at is best, I often go out to the huge grevillea bush in our garden and try for the perfect bumble bee photo. This little fellow is dusted with pollen and busy as a bee!

LOVELY LUNA

A gaping, toothy, smiling mouth greets you at the entrance to Sydney's luna park.......but......if you take the time to look up, the whimsical nature of the building will put a real
smile on your dial!

TRASH AND TREASURE

As my stepfather Gian Carlo used to say "keep your head down and you will find treasure"
All his life he was a finder....from Versace sun glasses to gold ear-rings (alas usually single), $50 notes to 5 cent pieces.....he would delight us with his finds. Of course one person's treasure is often another's trash and and that's what makes the world go round!
While walking across the street in South Melbourne my artistic friend (he is a painter!!)
pointed out this bit of treasure which was embedded in the tar. Melbourne really heats up in the summer....so much the tar actually melts!! There must be many other treasures just waiting to be found embedded on the streets so keep your head down....it will make you smile!
